Klubgarten

Making a connection – or, as the children's game has it, connecting the dots – is one of the true DJ missions: between musical genres and decades and, of course, between people on the dance floor. Today's Klubgarten features four Berlin DJs resp. DJ teams who’ve developed a very special skill at just that. Canadian-born Darwin, for example, has been focusing on the combination of techno, dub and breakbeats with her REEF parties since 2014 – musical coordinates that can also be found on her own label SPE:C. Her first planned REEF night at Berghain had to be cancelled in April 2020 for all-too-familiar reasons, but now we're happy to hear her in the garden today with Evan Baggs, ItaloJohnson and our resident Nick Höppner.
