Hackedepicciotto are Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto, and tonight they are presenting their fourth album The Current. It is the most powerful one to date, after composing slow and heavy drones for their previous LPs Perseverantia and Menetekel. The Current now moves faster and more energetic. Alexander Hacke's connection to the Einstürzende Neubauten can be felt in many rhythmic tracks. Danielle de Picciotto's classic background has also become more prominent. Glorious choirs and violin harmonies flow through the album and give it an almost symphonic sound. The artist couple calls their music “cinematic-drone” and their album sounds like the film track of an apocalyptic feature film which hopefully has a happy ending.

Glice are the Amsterdam-based musicians Ruben Braeken and Melle Kromhout. Their musical approach is mainly based on lo-fi devices, is improvisational, but highly concentrated. Free, but with a feel for details. Glice's music could be characterized as a soundtrack for non-existent science fiction disaster films. Or for post-apocalyptic ceremonies.

Marc Marcovic is a troubadour of the anamnesis, a timeless and homeless Ashok who develops his phonetic language worlds with hauntological melancholy out of collective unconsciousness. He therefore composes broken experiences and fragmentary thoughts into a mythical new ensemble. As a mirror of his own simulation, the performance person Marc Marcovic asserts his existence in a hallucinatory no man's land between speculation and certainty.
