Laundrette

Laundrette is the party from David Elimelech, Partok and Roi Perez. For its first edition at Panorama Bar, they've invited Rotterdam deep-house DJ Suze Ijó as well as London duo Faff. The Big Dyke Energy and Dalston Superstore residents bring a sound that's like a never-ending fountain that bubbles with euphoria, where rough house beats and chunky basslines are topped with high-pitched vocals and blissful piano chords. Garage, house, techno and electro mixed with maximum rave appeal, humor and a pinch of nostalgia. Fittingly, the tracks they issue on labels like Hot Haus and Planet Euphorique bear titles such as “BJs On The Beach”, “Translucid Poppers Got Me Moving” and “Crappy Hardcore”.
