Berlin only, vinyl only – this Thursday the focus is on young, driven Berlin DJs who play exclusively with wax, some of them with three turntables. Born and raised in Finland, Carmen Electro had her first rave experiences a decade ago in London to sets by Ben Klock and DVS1. Part of Héctor Oak's Often Plus Never Minus crew, her selections range from old-school tribal to contemporary techno, with playful hints of early tech-house and trance. Until recently, Jeffrey has been mixing under the name DJ Saunameister, combining vintage techno grooves with contemporary productions.
