Running Back

Space Dimension Controller's output has always been an ode to a better future at the other end of the universe, with visual references to 70s retro-futurism and a wide musical range that paints a benevolent picture of a possible (dancefloor) world – an offering that has never seemed more valuable than today. Having released on such personality-driven labels as R&S, Ninja Tunes and Clone over the past 15 years, the Irishman's second acid-infused EP will be released in early February on Running Back, the label run by Gerd Janson, whom he says he met over a decade ago as an annoyingly enthusiastic, stoned 19-year-old obsessed with Break Machine and Paul Hardcastle. At this Running Back night, Space Dimension Controller will be playing live in the Panorama Bar, surrounded by an incredibly eclectic DJ line-up consisting of Finnish DJ and Running Back producer Katerina, Narciss, Gerd Janson and Berlin Duo DJ Heartstring.
