Klubnacht

DEFTR is the joint project of Answer Code Request and Jan Wagner, who released their debut album Run Away on npm last fall. Their music oscillates between dreamy ambient soundscapes and innovative rhythms with atmospheric vocal samples. On Sunday for Klubnacht, they will be presenting their music live in Säule, using hardware such as drum machines and synthesizers. Gerd Janson fans take note: premiering at Panorama Bar is Liverpool duo North 90, who champion an ultra-euphoric 90s house sound in their DJ sets and on their five releases to date, including their most recent single “Eurotrash”, a highlight on numerous festival and club floors with its peak-time piano chords and memorable vocals. As co-founder of the Hayes collective and owner of the studio Tema Mastering, João Rodrigues has taken on an important role in the Portuguese scene. Originally coming from a drum'n'bass background and performing as Temudo since 2014, he continues to show his roots via detailed sound design, a focus on bass and energetic three-deck sets. For this edition of Klubnacht, Termudo is making his second DJ appearance at Berghain.
