Klubnacht

Resident DJ of the international queer party series HE.SHE.THEY, Miia Magia plays dubby, raw techno and classic deep house. Her roots lie in Helsinki's LGBTQ+ club scene, where she organized her own parties and ran Helsinki Pride for years. Since 2020, she has been running Motto Sono Records, a label releasing music by Scandinavian artists such as Cari Lekebusch. Miia Magia will be playing in Germany for the first time at this edition of Klubnacht. Shyam “Snad” Anand began his musical career at Chicago radio station WNUR 89.3. Since relocating to his current base of Berlin, he has developed a contemporary take on the European minimal sound of the 00s, which he fuses with the raw intensity of Chicago house. His records, most recently released on labels such as Smallville, Phonica and Chez Damier's Courtesy of Balance, contain indulgent, elegant deep house tracks that never sound too nostalgic. Under the name Spandrel, he also forges a dynamic fusion of tech house and garage. We are hyped for Snad's first gig at Panorama Bar.
