Lakuti and Tama Sumo continue their mission of spreading love and musical realness in another edition of their Friday deep-house session, Your Love. Gigi Testa is an Italian DJ/producer and owner of Organica Records in Naples. He plays often as resident of the audiophile club Basic and runs a record label with the beautiful name World Peace Music. Musically, he brings world music and disco influences into a perfectly swinging deep-house groove, which has been remixed by Ron Trent and others; his last three records have come out on Rush Hour Store Jams. The second guest DJ is Tedd Patterson, a New York house institution. He was a driving force in the Sound Factory's 90s heyday, and you can hear this legacy in his productions and performances. He's an old-school DJ – adventurous, with a wide-ranging repertoire that recognizes soul in a variety of musical forms. Following residencies at various venues such as Cielo, he's been playing regularly at New York's Battle Hymn. He has been releasing his own productions and remixes for the likes of Honey Dijon and Louie Vega for decades.
