area127 is focused on the new techno/trance sound burgeoning in clubs across the globe. Besides this aesthetic consideration, the label collective puts an emphasis on live sets and multimedia collaborations. Playing live tonight are Christian Duka, a music and sound artist from London working primarily with spatial audio, and Marco Maldarella, a producer and graphic designer from Italy. Together as the duo Marmo, they'll bring noise and drone elements to the dancefloor. Lithuanian DJ/producer and founder of area127 Tadan will be repping with an rhythmically energetic yet deep and hypnotic set, plus San Francisco native monosym and Brussels-based Onohno.
