Klubnacht

DJ/producer Chontane grew up with Ukranian roots in Berlin and already at 19 began playing at local clubs and parties. His sound cannot be boiled down to any one genre, ranging from techno to electro and breaks. Since 2018, he has been releasing on labels such as Rekids, Mutual Rhythm and his own imprint TANE. In his productions, he attaches great importance to sound design and precise production techniques – tribal-driven grooves, dense textures and major spatial depth are typical of his tracks. This edition of Klubnacht will not only be his first time playing at Berghain, but also his first live performance in Berlin. Parisian DJ/producer DVDE is also making his debut with us. His sets, which can be heard regularly on Rinse France or at his residency at Badaboum in the French capital, combine the spirit of Detroit and Chicago with a contemporary, nuanced sonic language. His output, which he releases on his own label, House of Underground, is marked by punchy drums, hypnotic basslines and detailed arrangements.
