Klubnacht

Roseen and Decka have a shared understanding of techno as stripped-down, uncompromising club music. With their label Frameworks, they have created a platform reflecting their close artistic collaboration and clear aesthetic stance. Growing up in Bristol, Decka was influenced early on by dubstep, punk and UK techno. After moving to Berlin, he made a name for himself with powerful, raw productions on labels such as Token, KEY Vinyl and SPE:C. His sound is energetic and precise; his DJ style strictly vinyl-based. Roseen, who grew up in Berlin, is strongly influenced by the roots of US techno. In 2023, their joint album Imaginary Places was released on Frameworks. Both will be DJing at Berghain for this edition of Klubnacht. Julie Marghilano is a DJ, producer and classically trained violinist. As the daughter of a jazz musician and a singer, she pursues an open, cross-genre approach that runs through all her work. She was born in Las Vegas and, after living in Italy for years, is now firmly based in Berlin. Her DJ sets move with ease among various diverging facets of electronic music. She is also the founder of Sol Asylum, the record label and party series of the same name.
